- Autism/Asperger’s Family Support Group - meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7pm at Centenary Methodist Church (910 Fordice Road, Lebanon). - Boone County Landmarks Preservation, Inc. - meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Lebanon Public Library. "Working to save our historic structures."
- Community Bingo the 4th Tuesday of each month at Hickory Creek at Lebanon. The public is welcome. Refreshments and prizes for all. Games begin at 2:30 pm.
- Community Euchre Club every Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Hickory Creek at Lebanon. The public is welcome.
- Community Farmers' Market every Saturday Morning (indoors during the winter) at the Thorntown Heritage Museum (124 West Main Street, Thorntown) from 8:30-Noon. Open All Year - free admission. Featuring seasonal produce, baked goods, free-range meats, poultry, and fiber from farms in the area, and traditional arts and crafts of local artisans. - Zonta Club of Lebanon Monthly Business Meeting in the Boone REMC meeting room. Dinner is at 6 pm with the business meeting immediately following. - Wild & Crazy Kids Challenge at Boys & Girls Club Day for Kids at the Zionsville Fall Festival in Lions Park. The Lebanon Area Boys & Girls Club and the Boys & Girls Club of Zionsville are teaming up to host the first Wild & Crazy Kids Challenge. The first 8 pre-teen and 8 teen teams to bring back the registration form and fee will participate in this wild and crazy challenge. The pre-teen challenge will start at 2 pm and the teen at 5 pm. The Pre-teen fee is $10 and the Teen is $20. Each age group will have 8 teams with 7 kids to a team. If you have participated or witnessed the Pre-teen Anything Goes, you don't want to miss out on this event. - Friends of Boone County Trails Monthly Meeting at at 6 pm at the Lebanon Arni's. The upstairs meeting area has been reserved from 5:30 to 7 pm, so arrive early if you choose to dine and then the short meeting will start at approximately 6 pm. After the meeting, the group will move to the Lebanon City Building for an open meeting on Lebanon's new Comprehensive Plan for a preview of how the city plans on implementing trails in Lebanon. Plan on joining us for dining at 5:30 pm (optional), our meeting at 6 pm, and the Comprehensive Plan meeting at 7 pm.

- The September PEACZ (Parent Education and Advisory Council of Zionsville) Business Meeting at 7pm at Hussey Mayfield Memorial Public Library. Members will be working on the planning and publicity for the October 19 meetinga panel discussion on Zionsville Special Education. - United Way of Central Indiana's 15th Annual Day of Caring to benefit nonprofit organizations in Boone County. Families, groups and individuals who have a desire to give back to their community can volunteer to landscape, visit the elderly, read to children, paint and more. Activities take place from 9 am to 4 pm. Day of Caring helps volunteers strengthen team-building, communication and relationships as they accomplish much-needed work that improves our community. On Saturday from 9:30am-4:30pm there will be live entertainment with DJ One; classic car show with NGN DJ; a children's fun park; arts, crafts & business booths, an art show in the Courthouse rotunda; contests; and a Library book sale. Great fun for the entire family! Handicap accessible.

- Kevin Hoskin and Friends Concert at 7 pm on the deck at the Thorntown Heritage Museum, 124 W. Main Street, Thorntown. Their selections for Thursday’s presentation will be 70s and 80s rock. Light refreshments are available in the Museum. Visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and insect spray. Concerts are presented rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, the program moves indoors at the Thorntown Heritage Museum. As always, the Museum appreciates donations for programs and operating expenses.

- PEACZ (Parent Education and Advisory Council of Zionsville) meeting at 10 am at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library. Lisa Patton, certified child therapist, will be the featured speaker. Lisa is one of 18 credentialed play therapists in the state of Indiana. She is a member of the National Association of Social workers, the Association for Play Therapy and the Indiana Association for Play Therapy. Lisa has been in private practice for the past nine years, and her treatment focus is with children, adolescents and families. - Elk's Soccer Shoot from 9 am to 12:30 pm at the Lebanon Middle School soccer field. There are four divisions for boys and girls: ages 7 and under, ages 8&9, ages 10&11 and ages 12&13 (ages as if August 1). Registration takes place on site. The event is free. Trophies will be awarded and winners advance to the District Competition.

- Double Eagle Run & Walk at Eagle Creek Park sponsored by Eagle Creek Park Foundation, Inc. Registration starts at 7:30 am; 10-mile run & 4-mile run starts at 9 am; 4-mile walk starts at 9:05 am.
