The Orphanage
Phase II construction has been completed and the orphanage is now home to 20 orphans. Each year, YETI raises the necessary funds to house and care for these 20 orphans. (Second term progress report for orphans - PDF 1.3 MB)
Announcements
- On Sunday, February 28, 2010, YETI donated $211 to BLING. BLING is an intensive Summer program for inner-city youth who have a desire to become business owners. Students are taught the basic fundamentals of starting a small business, including identifying opportunities, goal setting, costs, financing, marketing, record keeping, and competition.
- On Saturday, February 27, 2010, Jennifer Ruby of Ruby Law donated an additional $500 to fund an additional year of private schooling for two of our female orphans. These two advanced orphans are now funded for private school through July 2011.
- On Tuesday, December 15, 2009, YETI donated $200 to support student enrichment programs at the Indianapolis Lighthouse Academy, a 501(c)(3) public charter school at which 90% of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
- On Friday, September 11, 2009, YETI donated an additional $200 for medical and living expenses of a little girl battling leukemia. Read more about Isa’s story at http://isarose.wordpress.com
- On Wednesday, August 12, 2009, YETI donated $100 to the Arsenal Tech High School Scholarship Fund.
