Children who should receive a flu shot:

All children age 6-23 months of age.
Children 6 months to 18 years of age on long-term aspirin therapy.
Children 6 months to 18 years of age with long term medical conditions including diabetes, and heart and lung conditions.
Children with weakened immune systems.

If you have questions regarding your child's health condition, please contact their pediatrician.

Children under 9 years of age receiving the flu vaccine for the first time will be scheduled to return for a second dose one month later.
