- Computer Class: Intro to Excel 2003 at 9:30 am in the Computer Lab at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (250 N. Fifth St., Zionsville). Single-session, hands-on computer class. Class size is limited to 10 students to ensure individualized instruction. Each of the three-hour sessions costs $25.50 and includes a manual. Payment is due at time of registration. - Kenworthy Reading Camp 2009 from 1 - 3 pm at the Lebanon Public Library from June 24 - July 29 on Wednesdays. The goal of reading camp is to show that reading is as interactive as a team sport, video game, movie DVD, or a music CD and a lot of fun! Each camper will receive a book at each session attended. Registration is free. The camp is open to children going into grades 1 - 4, applications available at the children's circulation desk. Volunteering is open to young people going into grade 5 through going into college. We are accepting camper & volunteer registrations through June 12 for the camp. If you know someone who would like to volunteer, please fill out an application available at the adult circulation desk. If you have never volunteered at Kenworthy Reading Camp before, we ask that you attend one of the following training sessions: Monday, June 15 at 1 pm, Tuesday, June 16 at 10 am, or Wednesday, June 17 at 4 pm. - Swimming and a Movie at the Lebanon Memorial Park Pool. Swimming from 7-9 pm and movie (Free Willy) begins at dusk. The Lebanon Public Library and Lebanon Parks Department are partnering to do swimming and a movie at the Memorial Park pool this summer. Bring your family, a swim suit, towel, lawn chair, and some snacks and join us for our 1st pool movie. (In case of inclement weather the event may be cancelled.) - The 6th Annual Polo Event benefitting Witham Health Services Foundation and Boone County Chamber of Commerce at Hickory Hall Polo Club (7545 E. 100 N., Whitestown). Gates open at 12 pm, and the match begins at 1 pm. It's a fun-filled family event. Tailgate boxes and general admission tickets are available. - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Trivia Quest from 1 - 2 pm at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (250 N. Fifth St., Zionsville). In anticipation of the July 15 release of the new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie, youth 8 - 11 are invited to compete in the library's Harry Potter trivia contest. Participants will be divided into teams as they try to beat the clock, answer trivia questions and win prizes. Refreshments will be provided. - Faculty Artist Series sponsored by the Lebanon Community Arts Council starting at 5:39 pm in the Boone County Courthouse Rotunda. At 5:30 pm there will be an Art Exhibit featuring works by Karrie Hibbard, Harry Gibson, Susan Smith, Herschel Fall. At 6:30 pm there will be an "About the Music Forum" the musicians discuss the history of the music and composers for the evenings performance with the public. And at 7:30 pm there will be an instrumental and vocal concert featuring classical music performed by: Alan Conrad, Emily Hodges, the Prairie Creek Strings, and the Lebanon Brass Quintet. All the events are free to the public.

- Computer Savvy Seniors - Part 1 from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (250 N. Fifth St., Zionsville). Cost is $95. A special introductory computer learning program for adults 55 and older. The basics of computers, Microsoft Windows, word processing, Internet and e-mail will be covered in a relaxed environment that moves at the participant's pace. Weekly three-hour sessions are scheduled each Tuesday from June 9 through August 11 and include new topic introductions and lesson reviews. $95 fee must be paid at registration. - Kenworthy Reading Camp 2009 from 1 - 3 pm at the Lebanon Public Library from June 24 - July 29 on Wednesdays. The goal of reading camp is to show that reading is as interactive as a team sport, video game, movie DVD, or a music CD and a lot of fun! Each camper will receive a book at each session attended. Registration is free. The camp is open to children going into grades 1 - 4, applications available at the children's circulation desk. Volunteering is open to young people going into grade 5 through going into college. We are accepting camper & volunteer registrations through June 12 for the camp. If you know someone who would like to volunteer, please fill out an application available at the adult circulation desk. If you have never volunteered at Kenworthy Reading Camp before, we ask that you attend one of the following training sessions: Monday, June 15 at 1 pm, Tuesday, June 16 at 10 am, or Wednesday, June 17 at 4 pm. If you can help out, please apply today at the Lebanon Public Library.
- Alex and the Amazing Lemonade Stand from 2 - 2:45 pm at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (250 N. Fifth St., Zionsville). "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." Students in grades 3 - 5 will learn how pediatric cancer patient Alexandra Scott did just that and created an enduring method of raising funds for pediatric cancer research. Participants will learn the basics of a lemonade stand and will be invited to put those lessons to use at the library's Birthday Party Carnival August 7. A rare showing of an original 35 mm print of Indiana author Booth Tarkington's The Magnificent Ambersons, directed and produced by Orson Welles. Film historian and preservationist Eric Grayson will provide commentary and background information about this 1942 family drama set in the late 1800's. This film is not rated.
