We will watch the Boilermakers play the Badgers in Madison on the big screen TV in the Tap Room (must be 21 years of age) in the lower level of the Carolina Grill. - It's a Mystery Book Club at 7 pm at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (250 North 5th Street, Zionsville, Indiana, 46077). From true crime to TV crime, the Mystery Book Club explores a new area of mystery writing. The February selection is Heat Wave "written" by the lead character in the TV series "Castle." The premise of the show has mystery writer, Richard Castle, trailing an attractive, female, NYPD homicide detective to do research for his books. He helps solve crimes while also gathering plot lines involving his fictional character, Nikki Heat, an attractive female detective. Join us for casual discussion and refreshments.

Blood donors must be at least 16 years of age (Donors under the age of 17 must have a signed Indiana Blood Center Parental/Guardian Consent Form), weigh at least 110 lbs, pass a brief mini-physical and medical history review, bring picture I.D. and follow normal eating patterns before donating.

- Public Charter School Meeting at 6:30 pm in the Top floor meeting room at Lebanon Public Library (104 E. Washington St. Lebanon, IN 46052). Parent Advocates for Gifted Education will have an informational meeting about the its plans for Central Indiana Academy, a charter school to be located in Boone County that will focus on educational practices geared toward high ability/high achieving students and serve Central Indiana. The meeting will include information about the school, the proposal process with Ball State and an update on pending charter school legislation in the Indiana General Assembly. - Lebanon Public Library Joins World Record Attempt at noon on the steps of the main entrance of the Lebanon Public Library (104 E. Washington St. Lebanon, IN 46052). People of all ages are invited to help set a new Guinness World Record™ as part of the national kickoff of the Civil War Sesquicentennial. The 150th anniversary observance of the Civil War will begin on February 11, 2011, exactly 150 years after Abraham Lincoln left Springfield, Illinois on his Inaugural journey as President-elect to Washington, D.C. Lincoln made an impromptu speech that day before departing Springfield for the last time. The speech will be re-enacted at noon on February 11th on the steps of the main entrance of the Lebanon Public Library. Patrons will be provided a copy of the speech and are invited to join in and simultaneously read Lincoln's Farewell Address. The Inaugural train trip that began February 11, 1861 in Springfield arrived in Washington on February 23. It made stops in the Indiana communities of Lafayette, Thorntown, Lebanon, Indianapolis, Morris, Shelbyville, Greensburg, and Lawrenceburg. For more information on this program please contact

- "Love Your Neighbor" Banquet at 6 pm at Old Union Church of Jamestown (5681 S 500 W Jamestown, IN 46147). The meal will include an appetizer, Italian themed dinner and dessert. There is no cost for the meal but "LOVE" Offerings will be accepted. Any profits will benefit Old Union Youth programs. Those who attend will also have the chance to win a 2-Day Getaway for Two! - Rhythm and Romance from 7-9 pm at the Lebanon National Guard Armory sponsored by the Lebanon Community Arts Council of Indiana. Bring your sweetheart to this premiere Valentine's Day event featuring a performance by the Lebanon High School Jazz Band starting at 7 pm, under the direction of Alan Conrad. The evening continues with the beloved Sugar Creek Big Band at 7:30 pm. Not sure you can impress your sweetheart with your dance moves? Not to worry! Professional swing dance instructors will be available all evening to help you out, free of charge. This event is admission free and open to all ages. Mark Davis will present "Preserving Historic Tombstones." Mark is the owner of Stonesaver Cemetery Restoration and is an expert in tombstone preservation.( The Civil War Roundtable will meet one week earlier due to the library closing for the Presidents' Day holiday on Monday, February 21st.)
