- 2011 Holiday Stroll: Holiday Greetings from 9:30 am - 5 pm on Saturday and 1 – 5 pm on Sunday at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (250 North 5th Street, Zionsville, Indiana, 46077). Create a new family tradition and enjoy Holiday Stroll at the Library as you celebrate Christmas in the Village December 3 - 4. Ride the free trolley to the Library and enter a magical land of uniquely decorated holiday trees, free craft stations, live music, and a complimentary Holly Day Café featuring cookies and cider. Make reservations early for the Stevens Puppets puppet show Saturday and the sure-to-astound magic show by Don Miller Sunday. Our annual train display returns, provided by Watts Train Shop, and our Friends of the Library Holiday Boutique will help you finish your last minute shopping, with proceeds benefitting future Library programs. - Holiday Pet Photo Event to Help Humane Society for Boone County (HSforBC) from 11 am to 3 pm in the rotunda at the Boone County Courthouse. Come visit all the animals up for adoption or bring your family and pet to get their picture taken with Santa. $10 for 4x6 print, and $20 for a 4x6 print and a digital image. All proceeds go to the Humane Society for Boone County..

- Family Christmas Party at Lebanon Public Library - Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit with children from 9 am to 12 pm at Lebanon Public Library (104 East Washington Street, Lebanon, IN 46052). Santa's helpers will be giving out free children's books and candy canes. A craft table will be set up for children who wish to make a Christmas card or ornament. The library will also be collecting food items to be donated to the Caring Center. Be sure to enter our door prize drawing. Christmas movies, snacks and another craft will be available in the Top Floor Program Room. Visit the Library for a fun morning to get ready for the holidays!
- Bury'n McIntyre Holiday Toy Drive/Fundraiser in the parking lot of Danielle'sPlaza (2360 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon Indiana 46052). The toy drive starts at 3 pm and will run all evening if needed. Toy drive ends with a concert from local musicians Bury'n McIntyre inside Magoo's. Show starts around 9 pm. Bring an unwrapped childrens toy to the toy drive and receive a free ticket to the show. If you don't have a ticket, a donation can be made at the door before the show starts. Several individuals and organizations are on board to assist in making this a big event. Come out to show your support and stick around for great music performed by Boone County's favorite sons, Bury'n McIntyre.

- Lebanon Public Library Civil War Roundtable meeting at 6:30 pm in the Top Floor Meeting Room at the Lebanon Public Library (104 East Washington Street, Lebanon, IN 46052). Norris Darrall will present "Battle 101." Norris Darrall is a 1962 graduate of Lebanon High School and a 1971 Purdue University graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. He served in the U.S. Army Active and Reserve in 1962-63 as a Sergeant Major in Logistics. He also served in the Federal Civil Service, Dept of Army from 1973-1996. In his retirement he is active in many Central Indiana Civil War Roundtables. For over twenty years Mr. Darrall has been a re-enactor with the Fifth Indiana Light Artillery Battery. The Civil War Roundtable is a free program for adults and students. The public is welcome to attend. Meetings are held on the third Monday evening of each month. - Indiana Brass' 13th Annual Christmas Brass Concert at 7 pm at St. Francis Episcopal Church (1525 Mulberry Street, Zionsville, IN). The concert is free and open to the public. A beloved staple of the St. Francis Concert Series since its inception, the Indiana Brass Quintet ushers in the Christmas spirit with a festive program of holiday favorites. The concert will feature arrangements of well-known Christmas carols, seasonal repertoire, and a carol sing-a-long. Members of the Indiana Brass hail from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Bring the entire family and enjoy the spirit of Christmas, brass style! A reception will follow the concert. The concert is free and open to the public. Donations will be cheerfully accepted.
