* Friday, Saturday, Sunday, November 4, 5 & 6, 2016 - Home Games by Center Stage Community Theatre (604 Powell St. in Lebanon, IN). Home Games is a comedy by Tom Zeigler. The story: Mertle Mae Tucker (Kristen Wilson) supports herself, her father, a blind cat and an ill canary. Her father(John Carver) lives in a demented twilight zone where he lives out the 1955 season he spent on the Yankees bench. Love crosses Mertle Mae's path when Frank (Doug Stanton) offers her a life free of her father. Which will she chose her father or a new love? Shows are Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:30pm.Tickets are $15 for adults and students and seniors are $13.Call (765) 894-5587 for tickets or online at

* Saturday, November 19, 2016 - 9th Annual Greening the Statehouse (GTS) from 10 am to 4 pm (registration begins at 9 am) at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds. GTS is Indiana’s largest gathering of environmental-minded citizens. GTS is organized by the Hoosier Environmental Council, in partnership with several green-minded businesses and organizations. Headline speaker is Melissa Mays, who has played a leading role in bringing international visibility to the drinking water crisis in Flint, Michigan. Registration for Greening the Statehouse is $25 general admission and $10 for students. To register, visit A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please bring your reusable water bottles!

* Saturday, February 11, 2017 - Casino Night - the Third Annual Caring Center Charity Gala Event from 6-11 pm in the Cardinal Room at the Golf Club of Indiana benefiting The Caring Center. Enjoy an evening of fun and games, while raising money and awareness for The Caring Center of Boone County. Tickets available for purchase on November 1, 2016. * Wednesday, March 8, 2017 - Youth Enhancement and Training Initiative's (YETI) Fourteenth Annual Silent Auction and Dinner from 6-9 pm at Barnes & Thornburg LLP (11 South Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN). $40 per person (one free child with each paid adult) or $1000/sponsored table (seats eight)—RSVP by paying the appropriate amount via the YETI donation link or send a check to YETI, 6651 S 650 E, Zionsville, IN 46077. * Tuesday, March 14, 2017 - CERTO-PAPA-WOLFF 2nd Annual Early St. Patrick's Day Fundraiser for Holy Family Shelter & YETI Orphanage. Stop by the Antelope Club anytime on March 14, 2017 from 5-9 pm to support these causes! No charge to attend; proceeds will be donated to these two organizations!
