Training/Clinics
Training is required to umpire this year in Zionsville Little League. You will be required to attend a rules clinic and a mechanics clinic this spring. You need only attend one clinic of each. Please bring a note pad and paper.
- Rules Clinic – March 20 and 21 at the Lions Club from 7:00 – 8:30 pm
- Mechanics Clinics – April 4 and 11 at the Concession Stand 7:00 – 8:00 pm

How to Become a Paid ZLL Umpire
- Minimum age of 12
- Must possess good understanding of baseball and/or softball
- Must attend ZLL umpire training annually
- Must pass ZLL Umpire Test with minimum score of 80%
- Complete Umpire Waiver Form, have on file with ZLL
- Must be approved to umpire by ZLL Umpire Chief
- Must remain in good standing with ZLL
- $25 per game - plate umpire
- $15 per game - base umpire for Majors
- $10 per game - base umpire for Minors
