Trailer Safety and Maintenance Clinic

This outline is from a Trader's Point Pony Club clinic conducted by Tom Pierson and held on June 15-16, 2002 at Walnut Ridge Farm

The sessions included:

  1. Loading and unloading problem horses
  2. How to go about purchasing a trailer and vehicle that tows live weigh
  3. Trailer safety and maintenance for everyone
  4. In depth, hands on trailer safety for the older pony clubber.

#3 and # 4 sessions also included a specific list of yearly maintenance tips and other things that you should do every time you trailer.
