- Boone County Amateur Radio Club - meets the first Thursday of every month at the Lebanon Ponderosa on St. Rd. 32 & I-65. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. Our club net is on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. on 147.105+ Mhz., the ARES net is at 9:00 p.m. on Mondays on 147.105+ Mhz., and the YL net is on Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. also on the 147.105+ Mhz. repeater. - Boone County Community Health Clinic, Affiliated with Witham Health Services - Located at the Boone County Health Department, 116 West Washington Street, Suite B202, Lebanon. The mission of the Boone County Community Clinic is to provide primary health care to Boone County residents who have limited access to health care due to the lack of financial resources or health insurance. - Children's Mental Health Advocacy Project (CMHAP) Parent's Support Group - This is for parents of troubled children of all ages. We meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month (no meeting in June, July, and August) at 7:00 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church (in Lebanon) in one of the classrooms. Educational materials provided and an atmosphere of confidential concern. - Birth Choices Childbirth Education Class from - 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm at Witham Memorial Hospital (2605 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon) 2nd Floor Education Classroom. A five-week prenatal education class designed to help mother and father (or other support person) for the birth of their baby. A prenatal educator will cover various topics ranging from breathing techniques to delivery options. Birth Choices is open to all expectant mothers and the cost is $50 per couple. (There is no charge for those families delivering at the Witham Maternity Center.)

- Lebanon Farmer's Market located on the north side of the courthouse square on Washington Street. Market will run every Saturday from 8 am to 12 pm thru October 25th, excluding September 13th for the Back to the 50's Festival. A variety of vendors will set up booths to provide the community with fresh Indiana grown produce, homemade baked goods, flowers and plants, handmade crafts and more! Seasonal items will be available such as pumpkins and fresh turkeys in the fall.
- Indiana Victims of Violence Memorial Walk-a-Thon at Trinity Lutheran Church & School (8540 East 16th Street, Indpls., IN). Same day registration begins at 8:00 am. Warm-up and stretching will be at 9:00 am. The walk will begin at 9:30 am. Funds raised will be used to expand and sustain the memorial on permanent exhibition in the Indiana State House. - EMS Skills Day from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm hosted by Boone County EMS and Witham Health Services at the Boone County Fairgrounds. Various "skill stations" will be available to help participants meet state requirements for recertification. First Responders, EMT's and Paramedics are encouraged to attend this training. Beginning at approximately 1:00 pm, Capt. Ken Campbell of the Boone County Sheriffs Department will present a program on crime scene response and SRT. The EMA's Citizens Emergency Response Trailer will also be on display. - True or False: If its in a book it must be true! Rating & citing sources presented by Jolien Catlin, at the Lebanon Public Library Heritage Room at 7:00 pm. Jolien Catlin, started her search for roots almost 40 years ago. Her love for history led to a BA in history from Millikin University and her love of books, organization, and helping people connect to books, led to a Masters of Science in Library Science degree from the University of Illinois. She has worked in some phase of library service since she was 16, primarily as a childrens or public service librarian in both Illinois and Indiana. - "Living With Alzheimer's Disease" at 6:00 pm in the Witham Memorial Hospital Dining Room. Guest Speaker: Kate Nicholson, Educator Director, Alzheimer's Association. Today, one in ten individuals age 65 and over have Alzheimerís disease. Once a person reaches the age of 85, the chances for developing the disease climbs to 85%. The early signs of Alzheimer's Disease may be overlooked because they resemble signs of natural aging. These symptoms include forgetfulness, loss of concentration, unexplained weight loss, and motor problems, including mild difficulties in walking. - How "White Lies" Changed My Life at 7 pm in the Witham Memorial Hospital Dining Room. Rick Stoddard, star of Indiana Tobacco Prevention and Cessationís (ITPC) first TV ads, will share his story about tobacco use. Mr. Stoddard lost his wife to tobacco-related disease when she was 46. Ads featuring Rick telling her story include the recognizable line, "I never thought of 23 as middle aged." Join us as Mr. Stoddard shares his wife's story and how his mission is to help educate youth about the perils of tobacco use.
