• ANNUAL GARAGE SALE at Trinity Lutheran Church (2625 Elm Swamp Rd, Lebanon, IN 46052) from 7 am to 1 pm both days. Come check out the GREAT DEALS at this HUGE garage sale fundraiser! There is something for everyone, with items ranging from baby clothes to housewares to electronics. Proceeds will be matched by Thrivent and will be used to fund Trinity Lutheran Church's Vacation Bible School and Youth Camp Fund, Habitat for Humanity and the CHERUB! account for its missions within the Church and Community! For directions, follow the signs off of State Road 39 or check out the Trinity Lutheran Church website for directions!

• Boone County Bluebird Society Spring Meeting at 7 pm at the Boone REMC Community Room (1207 Indianapolis Ave., Lebanon). They will be discussing basics about how to attract bluebirds, monitor the boxes, and deal with challenges. They will also mark the 20th anniversary of the Bluebird Society. All past and present members are invited as well as the public. Literature and nesting boxes will be available.

• Purdue Club of Boone County Spring Meeting at Stookeys in Thorntown. Steve Lingle will speak about his adventure in Antarctica. Drinks and fellowship will begin at 6 pm with dinner at 6:30 pm. The cost of the dinner is $23 per person. Please send your $25 activity fee if you have not already done so, dinner reservations with meat selection and scholarship donation to our treasurer, Jane Hammock at 1019 Redwood Dr., Lebanon, IN 46052. • Community CPR sponsored by the Boone County Family YMCA from 9 am - noon. The fee for a Program Member is $55, and fee for a Potential Program Member is $65. Save a Life! This program covers adult, child, and infant CPR and chocking emergencies. You learn the basics of CPR and First Aid until professional help arrives. • Lebanon Sports and Fitness will be offering Community CPR and First Aid certification to the community. The class includes infant, child and adult CPR as well as AED certification through the American Heart Assocation. CPR will run from 9am - 11am and cost is $35. • 2008 Faith 5K Run/Walk from 7 am - 1 pm in Lebanon Memorial Park (adjacent to the Ulen Country Club and Golf Course, 130 E. Ulen Dr, Lebanon, IN 46052). The run will cover the expanse of the wooded park and will continue throughout Lebanon. It is a scenic run with little to no incline and the promise of spring flowers throughout! Pleasant View Church is hosting the run to celebrate our faith and to simply enjoy the day with others! Proceeds will help support local organizations The Caring Center and Love, Inc. Both are non-profit and assist those in need.

• Boone County Family YMCA 1st Annual Senior Spring Social from 11am to noon at the Boone County Senior Services (515 CrownePointe Drive in Lebanon next to Witham Hospital). Be Healthy, Be Happy and Be Fit! The Boone County Family YMCA is offering a Spring Social for those who currently participate in or have previously participated in the Older Adult Fitness programs. We also encourage you to attend if you have wanted to learn more about our older adult offerings. Refreshments will be served. • Humorist and Television Personality Dick Wolfsie is the speaker for the The Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library Friends of the Library Annual Meeting at 10 am in the Lora Hussey Program Room. All are Welcome! Free and Open to the Public! The Friends of the Library is a wonderful volunteer organization that has been a key player in the Library’s winning formula.  Proceeds generated from Friend’s booksales have paid for many items including materials for the collection, Library programs, furnishings, and equipment. New members are always welcome. Annual dues are $10. HMMPL website.
• 2nd Annual YMCA/Rotary Golf Scramble. The Boone County Family YMCA and Rotary have joined together to offer an afternoon of golf at the Trophy Club, prizes, and lunch. Registration begins at 11am. • Special Meeting of the Eagle Township Board, the Union Township Board, and Town Of Zionsville Town Council at 7:30 pm in the Zionsville High School Auditorium, (1000 Mulberry Street , Zionsville, Indiana). Attend an important public information meeting of the proposed Plan of Reorganization.  Zionsville Town Council President Matt Price, Eagle Township Trustee Judith Essex, Union Township Trustee Candace Ulmer have scheduled a special joint meeting of the Zionsville Town Council; Eagle Township Board; and, Union Township Board. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and consider the Plan of Reorganization, submitted by the Communities of Zionsville Area for Better Government study committee. Please join the legislative bodies of Eagle Township, Union Township and the Town of Zionsville for a community discussion of the Plan of Reorganization.
