- Feeding Our Future - The Childhood Hunger Panel Discussion - A one day event to raise awareness of childhood hunger in Boone County and raise money to fight it. - hear three informative and motivating speakers share with us their ideas and concerns about childhood hunger in Boone County. This event is at Witham Pavilion at the Boone County Fairgrounds from 4 to 5:15 pm. If you can't make this 4 pm start time, we will hold the same discussion from 5:45 to 7 pm. Also some of our leading restaurants and cooks will provide "A Taste of Boone County" food fair with samples of their signature dishes available from 4 to 7 pm, using their culinary skills to thank you for your concern about the food issues in our community. - Arc Artisans Second Annual Art Show & Reception from 6-9pm at the Sugar Creek Art Center (127 South Pearl Street, in Thorntown, Indiana). Arc Artisans is an entrepreneurial program of emerging artists at The Arc of Greater Boone County.
