United Way is staging a choral reading of Dr. Seuss's beloved book, Oh the Places You'll Go! to generate awareness and support for its Read. Tutor. Mentor. challenge. Classes will cover mouse and keyboard use, and introduction to Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint), Accessibility features, and searching the Internet. The classes must be taken sequentially. Registration is required, as class size is limited to six. There will be a $5 non-refundable registration fee for the class. Cost of registration will include a USB flash-drive that will include all class notes and will be given to participants following the final class. - 2013 Red, White, and Blues Festival from 6 - 10 pm in Downtown Lebanon on the Courthouse Square sponsored by the Lebanon Community Arts Council. Join us for the unofficial beginning of the 4th of July Festivities in beautiful Lebanon, Indiana! 2013 marks the 5th year for the annual "Red, White, and Blues" festival, featuring live music, wine tasting, art exhibits, and the ever popular, frog jumping competition! Family friendly and admission free, this year's festival features a very special group of musicians, "Joybox Express!" Traveling from Michigan, these musicians "ride" in style as they carry a full piano and other equipment on a trailor, with their bicycles! These talented musicians will be hosting a public bike ride to help individuals raise money for a charitable cause of their choice. Check back often to learn more about this amazing opportunity! - Pool Movie "Madagascar 3" at the Lebanon Memorial Park Pool sponsored by the Lebanon Public Library and the Lebanon Parks Department. There will be swimming from 7-9 pm and the movie will start at dusk. There is a fee of $1.00 for the swim and the movie. There will also be hot dogs or popcorn and a drink available for $1.00. - Superman Movie Marathon at the Lebanon Public Library (104 E. Washington St. Lebanon, IN) from 10 AM to 2 PM in the top floor meeting room. This program is free to the public. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Free popcorn and drinks will be provided. The first 12 patrons wearing a Superman costume or shirt will receive a free comic book.
