- 5th Annual "What Was I Thinking?" charity fun run/walk at 9 am at Witham Memorial Hosptial EMS building—sponsored by Boone County EMS and Witham Health Services. 2012 will mark the 5th attempt to lure brave (and somewhat crazy) fun people out of their warm homes to run/walk the streets of Lebanon on New Year's Day. There is also a 1 mile low impact loop. There will be no 10K loop this year; however, you are welcome to traverse the 5K route as many times you like. As always, the highlight of the morning will be the award-winning chili prepared by Donnie and Tammy Lawson of Prairie Creek Cattle. The chili alone is worth getting up for! Entry fees prior to January 1 are $20 (no shirt guaranteed after 12/20). Day of event the entry is $25. Entry form - PDF. You can also have your name or business immortalized on what may be the coolest event shirt ever. For $50 your name will be displayed marquee style on the back of the custom designed shirt (thanks to Vince Brooks and his students at Lebanon High School). You also receive one entry to the event. For $250 your company logo will be displayed prominently on the shirt—and throw in 2 entries (this is clearly a better deal!). Sponsorship form - PDF.
