- Winter Break Camp at the Boone Family YMCA from from 7am to 6pm. Nine days of fun and entertainment for just $115. If you just need us a few days of break – the fee is just $16 a day. Sibling discount of $5 each. Have fun playing games, having fun and meeting new friends. - The Music Group Presents...The Good Die Young from 7 – 8:30 pm at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (250 N. Fifth St., Zionsville). A musical exploration of classical and jazz artists and composers who passed away by age 35. These are compositions you won't hear on the radio or at the symphony. Certified Pilates instructor Connie McConnell will lead this introductory Pilates session which will focus on the core muscles in the abdomen and back. - 2010 Relay For Life of Lebanon Kick-Off at 6:30 pm at the Lebanon Public Library. Join the rally and form a team with your co-workers, your youth groups, your church community, your family etc. Teams can sign up during the kick-off or sign up on-line. Not up to being a team captain? There are other teams which would welcome you as a team member. Committee volunteer opportunities are also available. Everyone is welcome to be a volunteer. The money raised as part of the Lebanon Relay For Life stays in Indiana. The Lebanon Relay For Life will be held on June 4 - 5, 2010 at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds. Join us to celebrate the lives of all cancer survivors, remember those who have lost the battle and fight back to find a cure. - The YMCA presents the full stage production of Broadway's Annie Jr.—program begins January 14 and ends with the shows on April 32rd and 24th! Open to all boys and girls up to age 17.
Each performer will work on stage and behind the scenes in creating an all-class production of Annie Jr. Each student will be given ample stage time. This project will enhance a performer’s ability to cooperate, contribute, and build self-esteem. Performers will memorize lines, sing, dance, and study scenes and character in order to hone his/her performance skills. Performance Class One: Chorus of Orphans, age 3-5, 5-530p, $75;
Performance Class Two: Orphans w/Speaking, Sing/Dance/Act age 5 up, 415-5p, $100;
Performance Class Three: "Adult Roles" Sing/Dance/Act age 7-17, 545-645p, $115;
Performance Class Four: Main Speaking parts, age 7-17, 645-8p, $130. (Performance Class 3 and 4 Students will be asked to come and audition for part selection.) To register call the YMCA at 765-482-5960.

- Wii Gaming from 3:30 to 4:30 pm at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (250 N. Fifth St., Zionsville). Students in grades 6 – 12 may enjoy some Wii game play and a little friendly competition as we bring out our Nintendo gaming system. For those who enjoy something a little more hands-on, board games will also be available. Sessions will continue every Tuesday through March. Adults may learn how to use an exercise ball to increase their sense of balance, coordination and core strength. Certified personal trainer Connie McConnell will teach those in attendance how to incorporate the ball into their fitness routine. - Flood Risk Information Open House for Boone County Residents from 5-8 pm at the Boone County 4-H Pavilion
(1300 East 100 South
Lebanon, IN 46052). You will have the opportunity to locate your home on the soon to be published Flood Insurance Rate Maps and obtain valuable information on flood insurance coverage offered through the Nation Flood Insurance Program. Representatives from your local community, Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be present to address your questions. Please drop in any time during the event. For questions, please call the Boone County Commissioners’ Office at 765-483-4492.
Losses due to flooding are not covered under most homeowners or business policies.
- Formation of Roundtable Discussion Group Organizational Meeting for The U.S. Civil War 1861-1865 at 7 pm in the Ralph Stark Heritage Center at the Lebanon Public Library (104 E. Washington St. Lebanon, IN 46052). Anyone who would like to meet on a regular basis to discuss various topics of The U.S. Civil War 1861-1865 and specifically, Indiana and Boone County’s role in the war, please attend.
