The show tells the story of the Herdman children – "the worst kids in the whole history of the world" – as they volunteer for the annual church Christmas pageant, and it seems to be a script certain for disaster in Barbara Robinson's "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." Show times and dates are 8 pm on Saturday, December 4 and 11; 2:30 pm Sunday, December 5 and 12; and 8 pm on Friday, December 10. - 5th Annual Holiday Bazaar from 11am-3pm at Congregation Shaarey Tefilla (3085 W. 116th St., Carmel, IN 46032). Lunch served from 11:30am-1:00pm. Free admission and family fun entertainment all day! 35+ of your favorite local artist, crafts and home party consultants. Community Home Health Services to offer flu and pneumonia shots from 11am-2pm. The cost for the flu vaccine is $30. The cost for the pneumonia vaccine is $60. Community Home Health Services offers flu/pneumonia shot clinics proceeds go toward providing charity care for those who would otherwise not be able to afford home care or hospice services. Donations are being accepted for Ovar’Coming Together, Indiana’s Ovarian Cancer education and support resource agency.

Our first ever winter reading kick-off party! Come dressed in beach attire, make duct tape flip flops, make and eat beach pudding, do the limbo and more! - The historic Victorian era Cragun House (404 West Main Street, Lebanon) will be open from 7 to 9 pm for tours. Dressed in Christmas finery, the decorations replicate how the home might have appeared in the late 19th/early 20th century. Admission (and refreshments) are free. Volunteers will be dressed in period fashions and will be happy to conduct you through the wonderful old home. Owned and maintained by the Boone County Historical Society, the Cragun House has received extensive renovation over the past three years, and today displays most of the original furnishings, as well as many artifacts which have been donated. This course was developed to help babysitters know how to handle children's emergencies and teach them how to be safe and nurturing caregivers. The fee will be $55. Please bring a sack lunch. - Civil War Roundtable at 6:30 pm in the Heritage Center at Lebanon Public Library (104 E. Washington St. Lebanon, IN 46052). Mr. John P. Etter will speak. Formerly with the Carmel Police and an enthusiastic re-enactor, Mr. Etter will discuss his book "The Indiana Legion: A Civil War Militia." The Civil War Roundtable is a free program for adults and students. The public is welcome to attend. Meetings are held on the third Monday evening of each month. - Christmas Brass Concert at 7 pm featuring the Indiana Brass at St. Francis Episcopal Church (1525 Mulberry Street, Zionsville, IN). The Indiana Brass Quintet ushers in the Christmas spirit with a festive concert of holiday favorites. The program features arrangements of well-beloved Christmas carols and a short sing-a-long. Quintet members play in the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Carmel Orchestras. Bring the entire family and enjoy the spirit of Christmas, brass-style! The concert is free and open to the public, with cheerful acceptance of free will donations. A reception will follow the concert.
