The Boone County Step Ahead Council is sponsoring their annual Child Care Provider Fair on April 14 with registration beginning at 8 a.m. The Fair is from 8:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds, Annex Building, Lebanon. There is a registration fee of $5.00 and pre-registration is encouraged. Lunch is provided. The Fair is open to non-licensed and licensed child care providers.
The guest speaker will be Mary Jo Huff, who will demonstrate storytelling with puppets and props. She will also conduct a make it/take it workshop. Participants need to bring their own scissors, tacky glue and a gallon or half-gallon plastic milk jug.
Licensed child care providers will be recognized during the lunch period. The annual "Outstanding Child Care Provider of the Year" award will also be presented.
