Boone County System Response Team and New Vehicle - November 1998
The Boone County Special Response Team (SRT) is a multi-agency entity
comprised of officers from the Boone County Sheriff's Department, Lebanon Police Department, and the Zionsville Police Department. Their training prepares them for high risk activities such as
warrant services, building searches, etc.
The latest addition to the SRT fleet is the V150, an amphibious armored personnel carrier. Its' 4WD capabilities
will enable the team to get to those heretofore unreachable locations while
maintaining officer safety.
