A View of the Square in Lebanon in April 1998 - Lebanon, Indiana

Following the fire on the Wednesday, July 9, 1997, owners of the damaged buildings tried to secure funds to rebuild and rennovate the structures. The old "Century Building" was purchased by the church which sits immediately to the east. After several unsuccessful attempts by interested parties to purchase and preserve the Century building, the church decided to demolish the building. This is the view as of April 16, 1998 from near the church looking westward toward the square at the old Century site.

Photographs were taken by Tom Garoffolo.
