Girl Scout Cookie Sale Kickoff - January 2001

On Saturday, January 13th, 2001, the Boone County Girl Scouts held their Annual Cookie Sale Kickoff at the county fairgrounds. This annual event marks the beginning of the Girl Scout cookie sale. The kickoff was based on a tropical theme this year in honor of the new "Aloha" cookie.

Local volunteers from the Boone County Sheriff Department, the Lebanon Police Department, the Lebanon Fire Department, and the Boy Scouts, participated in cookie-related games and events. The kickoff was a huge success and everyone had a great time!
