Summer Reading 2010

Welcome to the 2010 Summer Reading Program! The Program will run from June 7-July 24, 2010. Summer Reading 2010 is currently in the planning stages. Updates will be made available as they are finalized.

Adult Summer Reading — Water Your Mind

The Adult Summer Reading Program will run from Monday, June 7, 2010 until Saturday, July 24, 2010. Sign up at the Adult Circulation Desk to receive a reading log! Read 5 books (or listen to 5 audiobooks!), and enter them in reading logs. All participants completing 1 or more logs are entered into a drawing for exciting prizes!

Psi Iota Xi's Children's Summer Reading Program — Make a Splash

Participants in the Children's Summer Reading Program at the Lebanon Public Library are eligible to win a free book and weekly prizes. Participants may read either 20 picture books or 7 chapter books depending on their reading level or the reading level of their child(ren). Sign up at the Children's Desk to receive your reading log!

2009's theme is "Make a Splash" We have fantastic programs planned for this year, including storytimes, music classes, Spanish-English bilingual storytimes, a genealogy workshop, movies, crafts, and more! Special Program performers will be announced shortly. The kick off on June 8 will include the annual Chalk the Walk in the morning and a visit from the Bubble Truck in the afternoon!

Young Adult Summer Reading — Make Waves!

Young Adults, ages 11-18, come on out and participate in the YA (Young Adult) Summer Reading Program! Sign up in the Young Adult Department to receive your reading log. The Grand Prize is an iPod! This year's program is funded in part by a gift from Dairy Queen of Lebanon.
