The Childrens Department is located on the lower level of the Lebanon Public Library. Highlights of the department include story time, board games, Touch-screen early literacy stations, computers, and Childrens books!

Activities

Story Times

When: Every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 10:30 AM.

Where:Children's Activity Room
 

Listen to fun books and meet new friends at Story Time! Daytime story times are held Tuesday and Thursday morning at 10:30 am, for all preschool aged children.
 

Ghostly Writings: A Spooky Story Writing Contest 

When: Due Wednesday October 22nd

Where:Children's Department
 

Ghostly Writings Due Today!! Drop off in the Children's Department.
 

Pajama Night Story time

Miss Leslie will read bedtime and Halloween stories. Kids are encouraged to come in their Pajamas. Free Milk and 
Cookies!

Pick up complete calendars and flyers in the Children's Department for additional information. All programs are free and require NO registration unless otherwise stated.

Fall Break Fun- October 27th- 31st

During Fall Break win some cool prizes in the classic game of Bingo and then bring your sleeping bag or pillow to enjoy a quiet afternoon with a special movie at the library during your fall break! Free popcorn, candy and bottled water will be provided during the movie! Titles will be posted at a later time in the library and will be PG rated newer release DVDs. Along with Bingo and movies the Children’s Department will be hosting Halloween events, crafts and food related fun. 

Trick or Treat the Library

Children can trick or treat the desks in the library throughout the day for a sweet treat. 

Community Read When: Through November 17

Participating in the Children’s Departments Community Read Program is easy! Just borrow a copy of the selected titles from the library. When you have finished reading it, just return to the library and sign up. Your name will be entered in a drawing for a prize and you will receive a free book. 



 

The library has crafts and board games available everyday!
