LPL is pleased to announce the availability of a new electronic resource for jobseekers. Cypress Resume is an easy to use program that lets you fill in a few blanks, and it crafts a resume for printing or emailing. Cypress Resume will also create cover letters that highlight your unique skills. Build and save multiple resumes that are tailored for any job.
Investors will be pleased to discover we now offer the ValueLine investment tool available for use.
LPL is testing the America's GenealogyBank database from NewsBank. We encourage patrons to take a look and let us know what you think about this database. If you think this is a resource we should keep, please contact the Heritage Center! The username and password for this test is: 10359.

The Adult Department invites you to "Get Steamed with a Good Book" this winter! Join us as we celebrate the tradition of pairing warm winter beverages with a great read. Sign up to win prizes, enjoy fun programs and discover new authors this winter. The 2012 Winter Reading program will run from January 9-March 17, 2012.
The Children's Department will also host a winter reading program. Win a prize a week just by reading! A scavenger hunt and book review contests will highlight winter reading.
YA Winter Reading begins January 9, 2012. Get a free book when you sign up at the Young Adult Librarian's Office and get your reading log. YAs who read 7 hours can enter a drawing for great prizes.
